Bug Hunt: The Signup Form

Your Mission

CloudNest just launched a new signup form and the support inbox is already smoking. Five distinct defects made it to production.

Your job:

1. Explore every part of the form, every field, every state, every message.
2. When you find a bug, file a structured report: clear title, numbered repro steps, expected vs actual, and an honest severity.

Scoring dimensions:

• Detection, how many of the seeded defects you find (severity-weighted)
• Report quality, specific titles, reproducible steps, clear expected/actual
• Coverage, how much of the app you actually explored

Pro tips:

• Validation bugs love boundaries: empty, too long, almost-valid.
• Watch what happens after actions, not just during.
• Read every message the app shows you. Carefully.
• Duplicate reports of the same defect earn nothing, one good report beats three vague ones.
